Punta Tombo & Camarones
Puerto Madryn - Camarones: 220 miles
Puerto Madryn and the traveler folk left behind, I continued south to see the magellanic penguins at Punta Tombo. Shortly after Trelew, I caught up to Andreas and Saskia, so it still wasn't back to solo riding. When the tar gave way to dirt and gravel, we were already pretty close to the funny bird colony.

The dirt ride south after Punta split us shortly before sunset as the Swiss couple was heading to free camp somewhere with a nice view of the coast, whereas I was after having some of that recommended salmon at Camarones. The result was a total bust and I ended up in a village with a weird vibe and almost no food to be found let alone salmon. Bad intel, or I caught the place at a bad time, in a foul mood. Oh well, at least they had a campsite.

Face to face with a giant full moon, I hoped at least the black Africa Twin was parked somewhere beautiful.
